Political Awareness & Involvement

Social Action in Action

As women committed to service through Social Action since our founding in 1913, GSCAC’s Political Awareness and Involvement Committee remains at the forefront of civic engagement.

On the national level, the committee is preparing for the 2026 Election Day through initiatives such as Ballot Awareness, Voter Registration, sharing information on Election Candidates, and hosting virtual presidential debate watch parties. The committee is also instrumental in coordinating Delta Days at the Nation’s and State Capitals, ensuring sorors have opportunities to advocate for policies that align with Delta’s social action priorities.

Locally, the committee actively promotes community involvement by organizing attendance at city council and school board meetings, ensuring that sorors remain informed and engaged in decisions impacting the Greenville community.
